Margaret Kamara DNP,PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate from Chatham University, with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. After serving in the U.S. Army as a medical-surgical nurse, I later earned my Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practice, which deepened my calling to help others achieve mental and emotional healing. I currently work with veterans recovering from a range of mental health and medical conditions, providing compassionate, evidence-based care guided by Christian principles. My approach integrates faith and science—recognizing the power of prayer, hope, and God’s grace in the healing process. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—empowering individuals to build resilience, restore purpose, and live in alignment with God’s plan for their lives.
